Timberchic Wood Planks

Noni

Happy Thursday!
I am so excited to share something really cool with you today! We were sent Timberchic wood planks (stick and peel wood) to review and to try out. First off, I️ was so happy to learn that Timberchic uses 100% reclaimed river wood from the Northern Maine River and is an eco-friendly product. Levi and I were pretty excited to try it since we have seen some awesome projects done with it. We decided to build a barn wood door for our master bedroom closet and to have it done in one day. We ended up choosing the color, Driftwood, because even though it would be more wood in our room in general, this option was a pretty sage color that I️ thought would look good with the rest of the bedroom.

Before we started, we did try sticking it on a few different surfaces, tile included, and it stuck pretty dang good! It was such an easy product to work with and we did end up getting it built all in one day!

We started out using a big piece of 3/4 MDF panel (leftover from this project )and cut it down to the sizes we needed.

Levi LOVES THIS SAW  btw.

It’s such beautiful wood, perfectly cut and really smooth.

Three rows of peel and stick. Also came with black stickers to put behind the holes.

Levi deciding on our layout. We did a quick coat of primer onto the pressed wood we got just to be safe.

Then you just peel and stick! We were sure to get our lines and measurements perfect because it’s really sticky/strong and hard to move it if you mess up!

We also received this roller to help get it to stick even better and faster.

Nice thin boards that didn’t break or chip.

(The real reason I can’t get anything done. #tinyboss)

Seriously, it was so fast and easy. It went from pressed particle slab to legit door in less than a day.

And the completed project!

You can find the Barn door hardware we used by clicking here We love it! I asked Levi what he thought about it and if there was any cons to the pros, and he said none. He liked how easy it was and he was impressed with the consistency of it. We would totally recommend Timberchic wood planks as a great product to use on your next DIY project!

Also, I am posting all the nitty gritty on our entire (gulp) closet remodel next week, so stay tuned!
