Valentine’s Day snack tray

Noni

I did a simple Valentine’s Day dessert tray and the best part was that it didn’t take long at all. It looks like it was a lot of work but it’s really just the layering of containers that take it to the next level. I used white and silver containers to pop against the red tray. I got everything at two stores, the Dollar Tree and Winco. Plus I didn’t do any decorating in my house so for me, this was pretty simple. I could have just done the tray and have had super happy kids but I decided to do a couple more things just cuz I was actually in the festive mood.

White dishes

I love that they pop against the tray but after I put in the hard candy you can’t see the contrast as much.
You can use any dishes you want because the treats will cover most of it. Then just add candy to the layers.

All the foil candy is from Winco, as well as the donut holes, pretzels, bridge chocolate mix, and mini chocolate chip cookies. The sour heart candy, fig newtons and pink wafers are from the Dollar Tree.

This was with some hard cinnamon candy but decided to do the heart candy instead. with everything in their own containers, it’s easy to move them around until you get the position you love.
With the heart candy as the final layer. 😁

I love doing things like this for my kids on special occasions because I never buy candy. With the tray its nice because I can let them have a little and then put it away for later.

I will put together a little bar of treats on Valentine’s Day and like the tray, everything I use is from both stores, didn’t have to go anywhere special for the items.

Cotton candy from Dollar Tree
I got the cotton candy from Dollar Tree as well!
I found a small spot to display the treats and added a simple red ribbon to my favorite wool wreath. You can find it https://www.etsy.com/listing/682403737/braided-wool-wreath?ref=shop_home_active_9&frs=1

I really hope this inspires you to try something fun and easy for Valentines Day!
